I AM...

Juan Carlos Lizana Carreño is a Chilean who was born on March 8, 1953 , in the historic city of Rancagua. Son of John of the Cross Lizana Carreño  and Elia Castro.

He is a poet, sculptor in wood, polyglot , self-taught and versatile artist . A broad cultural background, as well as being a cosmopolitan traveler in your life .

It has been in more than half the world including continents like Latin America, Africa , Asia and Europe. It is in the latter where the route it takes , mostly in a Brazilian bike , which in his own words , he had to give to a friend at an airport in Spain , on the last trip that brought him back to his homeland.

In Europe traveled in the middle of two-wheeled transportation , called by the same as "Man who travelling,  wiht  hes  artist  mind,: Leaving his extensive legacy in 50 countries, among them being the most important ; Ireland, Scotland , Denmark, Sweden and Norway. In all these places he visited was leaving a range of sculptures and art lessons on Wood . He worked on many such occasions with the community, with children and youth also subject to drug and alcohol problems , transforming his art in a form of mental and spiritual healing.

In every country in the world that managed to visit , managed to extract from them a part of their culture , both ancient and contemporary, thus enriching their extensive knowledge of world history, languages , sculpture, ancient cultures , among many

other .

Today , with two meniscus operations universal product pedaling remains living as a sculptor of wood, selling their creations to both residents and tourists visiting the town of Santa Cruz , located at the heart of the Colchagua Valley . Thus, Juan Carlos Lizana Carreño shows us his world, his life , and makes available , to thereby provide a piece of personal history to a consumer society and spontaneity that absorbs us and we often do not allows us to contemplate the true beauty of natural things

are all around us ; as it is a piece of wood .
